You and I live in the “new age.” Out with humanism and in with spiritism. Of course, as finite creatures we are limited, but what if we were really gods and we just needed to know it? There would be no limit to what we could do. We wouldn’t need a savior; we would only need enlightenment. We could create reality with our own minds. If we believed hard enough, it would become true. This kind of thinking is nothing more than old-fashioned occultism dressed up in New Age clothing.
